The results can be seen this website. However, there is a limit to what can be learnt from abstract research, computer models, and broad-brush surveys.
So we insist on getting out on individual boats, and seeing for ourselves how the fish are caught. This is a huge commitment of time and effort (and trust on the part of the fishers). We record this so that we can show chefs the candidate fisheries, have a informed discussion with others, and now – through this website – share the experience more widely.
